Scafell Pike
Introduction
We will be setting off from ALC car park @ 6pm to go to Ambleside, Fri 27th October.
We are booked into the Ambleside Backpackers ( 015394 32340 ) on Friday/Saturday 27th-28th October (arrive after 6pm). On Saturday we will climb ScaFell Pike the highest mountain in England - bring a packed lunch. We plan to return home early Sunday morning in time for Church!!!!.
The cost is £15 per night B+B you will also be expected to contribute to the petrol costs of whoever brings you (around £5.00). We have 12 places booked, a £10 non refundable deposit secures your place on a first come first served basis. Anyone interested register here and see Richard Waters with your deposit.

Accommodation
We are staying at the Ambleside Backpackers at Ambleside in Cumbria. This is a very pleasant Hostel within the heart of the Lake District ideal for Scafell Pike and the Langdales. It offers excellent facilities of a very reasonable standard at a very reasonable price including Bunks with Duvet's, a fully furnished kitchen and dining area, lounge and drying facilities!
